WELCOME / Annual Amsterdam Chlamydia Meeting

Dear Chlamydia lovers,

Next year we organize our Sixteenth Annual Amsterdam Chlamydia Meeting (16thAACM) on June 7th, 2024. The location is the same as previous years “The Mercure aan de Amstel Hotel” in Amsterdam.

This year two keynote lectures will be given by Prof. Henry de Vries (NL), titled Clinical Chlamydia trachomatis infection, and by Prof. Nicole Borel (CH), titled Chlamydiae One Health & Zoonosis.

Registration is free, as are the drinks afterwards. Those who wish to join us for diner are asked to pay a small fee (€15) at the registration desk.

The best oral presentation by a PhD student will be awarded.

Before lunch, there will pitches of 3 minutes each from students, PhD students, or staff to briefly show a new research line or programme they are working on, but for which data is still limited. So please let the organisers know if you want to present.

We are looking forward to an exciting meeting and fruitful discussions!

Warmest regards,

Servaas and Sander, AACM organisers
